Get Ready for Spring at CBG!

The Cleveland Botanical Gardens has an exhibit "BIG SPRING"!  This is a larger-than-life setting.  Can you say SUPERsize me?  With humungous ladybugs, giant flowers and enormous garden tools!  Enjoy this indoor and outdoor springtime celebration featuring 30,000 beautiful flowers with their sweet scents awakening our winter slumber.  Enjoy:

*  An imaginative tea party in an enchanting woodland setting

*  Explore an indoor garden hedge maze

*  Dress up as bugs and stuff your stuff at the Toadstool Theater

*  Enjoy the outdoors with new activities and the Hershey Children's Garden

Stan Hywet - One of America's Castles!!!

Please join us for a tour of one of America's Castles!!!  I LOVE, Love, love this place :)  Stan Hywet is located on 70 acres and is:

* Listed as one of the largest homes in America 
* Listed as a botanical garden
* National Historic Landmark

Youth Manor House Tour Duration: Approximately 1 Hour.  Includes guided Manor House tour, self-guided Gate Lodge, Corbin Conservatory & Gardens.



Learn about one of the co-founders of Goodyear Tires!  Stan Hywet features original furnishings from the family.

April Blooming Flowers on the Estate:

-Spring Bulbs: Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinths,

-Star Magnolia

-Hellebores

-Depending on our spring the apples, pears, and kwanzan cherries may be in bloom. That can be anywhere from late april to early may

* Mid April through early May is the best time to see our spring ephemeral wild flowers in the dell. These include:

 -Trilliums

 -Virginia bluebells

 -Bloodroot

 -Trout lilies

 -Spring Beauties

 -Toothwart

 -Dutchman’s breeches

 - And many more...(mostly small flowers/ones that bloom for only 24 hrs)

REEL Family Time - Cinemark

Would your family enjoy seeing new movies on the BIG screen?  For only $1 per person you can!!!  Cinemark has a Reel Family Time program.  Usually we wait until the summer to catch a movie at the special $1 rate, but now when a new movie comes out that we would like to see, we will check Cinemark to see if they are showing it!
