Nursing Home Outreach - Piano Concert

Dear Homeschoolers,

Please join us as we visit a nursing home and bring some well wishes and Easter greetings to the residents.  Please note this is an outreach opportunity and not a piano recital.  The activities director mentioned other groups coming in with their families and not trying to reach the residents.  So as much as I would love for you to invite others, this is about/for the residents.  I am encouraging uplifting music - Christian, Classical, etc.  We will try not to have duplicate music performed as well.

TIME:  3:30 - 4:30PM

LOCATION:  The Merriman, 209 Merriman Road, Akron

# of pianists:  20

If your children would like to make encouraging cards to pass out afterwards to mingle with the residents that would be great!   After the concert, please join us for a potluck dinner.  YUM!

Please email Kim at DecadentChocolate@gmail.com by February 9, 2015 with children's names, skill level and song.  This should allow enough time for the children to practice their music.  Any questions, please let me know as well.  Looking forward to sharing our love of music with the residents at The Merriman and you!  Thank you for your servant's heart.
