PIONEER SCHOOL: A hands-on, experiential field trip designed to provide students an opportunity to touch, smell, feel and take part in life on the Ohio frontier in the 1830’s. Students will perform chores in an authentic 1813 log cabin, participate in a “blab” school lesson from 1834 and hand dip a candle to take home. Workbooks provided.
